Tēna koe, I have worked at the intersection of statutory systems, kaupapa Māori practice, and professional supervision for over 19 years in positions requiring effective, timely, ethical and safe decision-making skills.
My recent mahi has been contributing to system oversight that improves long term outcomes for tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau and delivering individual and group supervision, reflective practice and quality assurance services to clinical psychologists, programme facilitators and managers
I specialise in Kaupapa Māori supervision, especially supporting practitioners to use relational principles of whakawhānaungatanga, manaakitanga, and cultural safety. Continuous learning is also an important part of my personal and professional development journey, and I have studied at Te Wānanga O Aotearoa and Te Wānanga Takiura O Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori O Aotearoa.
